We BEGAN in 1981 as a hardworking construction firm focused on building and creating great projects for our clients. Our two founders each brought different strengths to AVB. Daryl Rynd had worked his way up from a student at Western Michigan University to an apprentice carpenter to construction management. Joe Gesmundo began his development career with a few small projects that focused on a very high level of design and quality for a reasonable price. Their hard work and reputation for honesty, integrity, and great quality at a competitive price allowed them to grow their company into one of the largest and most trusted construction and development companies in West Michigan.
